What began as a group of our dedicated Food Market La Chiquita team members sharing homemade traditional Mexican dishes, became something even bigger. Inspired by a love of authentic flavors and spices, we wanted to share these dishes with our customers.
Now, every Food Market La Chiquita has a Taqueria serving the traditional dishes we love and hand-crafted specialties, every day.

Almost 40 years ago when Food Market La Chiquita opened its very first doors in Chicago's Little Village Neighborhood. Now with several grocery stores and Taquerias in the Chicago and suburban area, we continue spreading that "Chiquita Spirit" all throughout Illinois.
